More JOE5 party pics

Ben and Joe are remaking Brokeback Mountain as an eighties skater story, called Brokeback Halfpipe. Should be good. Marika is getting Michelle Williams role. I don't know if she'll be able to pull of the look of devastation when her character realizes her husband is batting for the other team, since we've all known Ben was gay for years...
Who's the happy homemaker? Lucky, lucky you're with Aimee... Motherhood at it's best...
Doesn't Mo look good with his clothes on? well, you know what he looks like without!! He's taken over the Golden Guitar and is posing with his inlaws/fans, Kelly and Lachlan.
And there is Ali Barbeque (ask gay Greg about her nickname and no, it's not about her purse, it's about the 12 kilos of chicken she helped cook on Friday... thank you ali!!) and Tracey, wife of Mo. And it was her who encouraged him to streak and picked him up in the white car... I thought she had just driven up ... "Who the hell's that?!? oh wait, it's my husband...need a lift hon?"

Here are some of the pretty faces that attended the party... Kari and Gary ( i think there were about three karey/kari/karrie's, a gary, five al's , two sam's, three pete's, a couple of phil's...mind boggling...Then it's shaner's and sam, who you couldn't walk near with a camera with out them both immediately jumping up and striking a pose! good thing you are both so cute!! Boonie, Laurel, Pearl and Kelly...or is that Troy? hmmm so hard to tell... Joe blowing out his candles - i think i was back in bed about ten minutes after that, not much of a party mumma this year! and then the pretty party girls from the Queen of the Green, meet Miss Sydney, Sophie Kemm, Miss Red Rock, me, Miss Trafalgar, Emjay Heenan, and Miss Lismore, Marika Clements. We got our asses kicked by Miss Clunes, but I still think we looked cute in our printed and polka dot cotton frocks!

Ali's photos

Young Ali Natress got to enjoy her first real Joe. In previous Joe's she was known as our fabulous babysitter! yay! but unfortunately for the kids, she's turned 18 and started drinking. Well, Ali wins hands down this year as Best New Fag Hag. She ended up on Saturday night at BHP (Blue House Pete)'s gay getaway pad and partied with them so hard that she lit her own handbag on fire. A handbag that for some reason contained fresh (and then toasted) lemons... i guess she's always ready with a garnish! Anyway, Ali has sent in a lovely selection of photos, some of them I can't include because there is nudity involved... Enjoy!

Some Party Weekend Action shots

Yes that is a picture of the nude streaker i referred to earlier... thanks to Lachlan catching this gem of his brother in law! and well done Mo! Next year we'd like the flaming Mo though! And a quick shot of Adam doing his famous tap dance! Ali sent me some video so if anyone knows how to put video up on the net, let me know and i'll do that so we can all live the moment again and again... who would think the sentiment "Why I am Glad Joe was Born" could be expressed with fancy footwear... Also this is a pretty good shot of the cricket teams and our fab umps and score keepers. And Troy, Mo, the Golden Guitar and the big blue truck. The ticker tape parade should encourage everyone to excel in their field, and who knows! you too may get a ticker tape parade! Lastly, Mr. and Mrs. Stiffy with their adorable twinfants, Maverick and Pajero. We are hoping they come to the party next year with their third, I'm going for the name Hummer!
Alright, remember, if you want to see the pictures in full size just click on them and don't forget to send your winner pics in!

JOE 5 - ANOTHER FABULOUS EVENT!!

Hey Beautiful People!

Whew!!! Another JOE has come and gone... this one, JOE5, was a humdinger... we had Boone bling with dazzling whites on the cricket pitch, a streaker, big trucks and ticker tape, drag queens playing lawn bowls and a mini dancing man, for crying out loud! I don't know how we'll top this one!
One more congratulations to Jeff's team for being the winning cricket team. He's supposed to have minded the Joe Cup for the year, but i found it randomly tossed aside at the club so i guess i'm now in charge of it.
A round of applause to Big Al for winning Man of the Match and becoming the keeper of the Holy Pail for one year. When he heard the story behind the Holy Pail, he too shirked his responsibilty and has left Jeremy and Rebecca in charge of it.

Both trophies can be viewed for a small fee ...
Our newest and proudest parents to be there was a double effort by Ben and Francis, who caught the dirty nappy and not one, but two babies! The twin set was in honour of Zoe Clements who was unable to attend this year due to impending labour... Ben and Francis will be bringing the twins, Pajero and Maverick with them again next year, we hope, to keep Dug company... whatever happen to last years baby?!? DOCs musta got it...
A stunning victory for the winning lawn bowls team, Russel and Mitch, even though there were allegations of cheating. Good thing we didn't do random drug testing...Mitch also took out the trophy for Gay Play of the Day at the cricket, well done Mitch, you aren't a hair dresser for nothing. Raise the roof, sister!
A divinely dressed and former Man of the Match at JOE1, Miss Rebecca Hudson was crowned Queen of the Green for her decadent Vivienne Westwood inspired bustle and plaid number. Very big statement, almost as big as your hair. I will endeavor to find a proper replacement tiara for your plastic one, although i do love the way the pink maribou complimented and completed your look. Well done!
Joe would like to thank the local fellas, Jim, Phil, Pete and Al for all their hardwork at the cricket. We would also like to thank the staff at the bowlo for their impressive service and also to Val and Graham at the shop for putting up with the weekends shennanigans. Also a big hug to our lovely babysitters who kept an eye on the little darlings...
Also a really big extra special thank you to those of you who helped pitch in and take a bit of the load off with cooking, barbecuing, set up, cleaning and helping with the cricket and lawnbowls - it was really, really appreciated and helped make Joe's big weekend a lot more enjoyable for both Joe and I. If i wasn't so over alcohol, I'd have a private party to celebrate you!
If you have any photos you want put up, email them to me and i'll do it! If you click on the photos you can see them in their actual size - so if you want to zoom in and check out the streaker's tackle, you can....
Thank you all so much for coming and celebrating with us! To those of you who couldn't make it this year, we really hope to see you at JOE6!
See you next year and
Happy Birthday Joe!!!!
love
