JOE 5 - ANOTHER FABULOUS EVENT!!

Hey Beautiful People!

Whew!!! Another JOE has come and gone... this one, JOE5, was a humdinger... we had Boone bling with dazzling whites on the cricket pitch, a streaker, big trucks and ticker tape, drag queens playing lawn bowls and a mini dancing man, for crying out loud! I don't know how we'll top this one!
One more congratulations to Jeff's team for being the winning cricket team. He's supposed to have minded the Joe Cup for the year, but i found it randomly tossed aside at the club so i guess i'm now in charge of it.
A round of applause to Big Al for winning Man of the Match and becoming the keeper of the Holy Pail for one year. When he heard the story behind the Holy Pail, he too shirked his responsibilty and has left Jeremy and Rebecca in charge of it.

Both trophies can be viewed for a small fee ...
Our newest and proudest parents to be there was a double effort by Ben and Francis, who caught the dirty nappy and not one, but two babies! The twin set was in honour of Zoe Clements who was unable to attend this year due to impending labour... Ben and Francis will be bringing the twins, Pajero and Maverick with them again next year, we hope, to keep Dug company... whatever happen to last years baby?!? DOCs musta got it...
A stunning victory for the winning lawn bowls team, Russel and Mitch, even though there were allegations of cheating. Good thing we didn't do random drug testing...Mitch also took out the trophy for Gay Play of the Day at the cricket, well done Mitch, you aren't a hair dresser for nothing. Raise the roof, sister!
A divinely dressed and former Man of the Match at JOE1, Miss Rebecca Hudson was crowned Queen of the Green for her decadent Vivienne Westwood inspired bustle and plaid number. Very big statement, almost as big as your hair. I will endeavor to find a proper replacement tiara for your plastic one, although i do love the way the pink maribou complimented and completed your look. Well done!
Joe would like to thank the local fellas, Jim, Phil, Pete and Al for all their hardwork at the cricket. We would also like to thank the staff at the bowlo for their impressive service and also to Val and Graham at the shop for putting up with the weekends shennanigans. Also a big hug to our lovely babysitters who kept an eye on the little darlings...
Also a really big extra special thank you to those of you who helped pitch in and take a bit of the load off with cooking, barbecuing, set up, cleaning and helping with the cricket and lawnbowls - it was really, really appreciated and helped make Joe's big weekend a lot more enjoyable for both Joe and I. If i wasn't so over alcohol, I'd have a private party to celebrate you!
If you have any photos you want put up, email them to me and i'll do it! If you click on the photos you can see them in their actual size - so if you want to zoom in and check out the streaker's tackle, you can....
Thank you all so much for coming and celebrating with us! To those of you who couldn't make it this year, we really hope to see you at JOE6!
See you next year and
Happy Birthday Joe!!!!
love
Carm
